Photos By Hobby.
Photography and wildlife is a fairly recent hobby, and though I enjoy all aspects of the form, my frequent outlet is the landscape and animals of my local Bushy and Richmond Parks.
The focus of my holidays has now become to see as much incredible wildlife as possible. Since our Madagascar honeymoon (see below) we've been to Costa Rica and Borneo, with many more places on our list.
The plight of our natural world gives us a renewed impetus to see as much as we can, as soon as we can. Everything I see at home and on holiday puts sustainability at the forefront of my mind.
I'll post a quick highlight here of my favourite snaps from Bushy Park. Getting up for sunrise is always a struggle, but when all the elements come together, it really is something special to witness.
My Madagascar Film.
I began 2015 with my honeymoon to Madagascar. A bare bones adventure through one of the poorest countries in the world wasn't my first idea for a honeymoon location, but I returned with over 10,000 photos and more than 20 hours of footage.
I spent several months of spare time crafting a short film of my experience, only slightly exaggerating the emotions I went through to produce what I hope is an engaging forty minutes.
